On show, the widest range of technical opportunities, systems, equipment and services for solving complicated specific environment problems. An extraordinary event for networking on innovations and the potential of this continually expanding sector, with the highest investment and profit forecasts over the next ten years. IN THE SPOTLIGHT RECLAIM-EXPO: on show: the most advances technologies for reclamation/remediation of contaminated sites of national interest, as well as those of small and medium dimensions, techniques and instruments for characterization and monitoring, with a focus on upgrading and redeveloping the areas involved. As well as a wide expo area, there is a busy program of conferences, meetings and discussion tables dedicated to remediation will enable to compare the various approaches to work and management. METAL-ECO: the world of ferrous and non-ferrous metals is at the centre of this important project, whose participants will include the sector's most important associations, companies involved in scrap salvage, recycling, treatment and commerce to discuss better use of manufacturing waste and re-use of recycled materials, recovery system quality, current regulations and interaction with the EU, involving all the public and private players, manufacturers, transformers and users. INERTECH: exhibition/conference on recycling in the construction world, entirely dedicated to demolition, recycling C&D material and recycling in the road construction sector. On show: the most important companies specialized in waste handling and demolition, manufacture of buckets and attachments, inert treatment, asphalt recycling. - As well as the expo, there will be four days of debates, each of which will be dedicated to a specific issue with the sector's top experts. In collaboration with Edizioni Pei (publishers). SAL.V.E.: 3rd Waste Vehicle Expo, dedicated to companies working in the following trade sectors: Coachbuilders for industrial and special vehicles, sweepers, beach cleaners, sewage trucks, video-inspection, skips, bins and containers, services and accessories. There will be the sector's latest innovations, vehicle safety equipment, technology for reducing environmental impact and ensure increasingly punctual competitive services. ECOAQUA: strengthened and expandedthis expo features products and services connected with the entire water cycle, from primary water to wastewater, various treatments with particular attention on purification and re-use. Ample space will be dedicated to technology connected with efficient distribution and water saving, from collection to end use. SUSTAINABLE TOWNS: expo area of projects, products, solutions, case histories and demo areas aimed at finding a series of methods that enable both professionals and public administrators to plan, design and carry out work based on landscape and townscape protection, energy saving and conscious development. In collaboration with the magazine "Progettare il mondo che cambia" (Designing the changing world). GREEN PROCUREMENT ISLAND: an area dedicated to the exhibition of products that are recycled or made with eco-friendly material, providing a high profile showcase for all the sector's companies and create an opportunity for networking between the green procurement supply and the demand on behalf of Public Administration and private firms. WEEE: the directive on waste electrical and electronic equipment is one of the key factors of the European environmental policies and, after the presentation of the WEEE system at Ecomondo 2007, this year the expo and debates involving all the trade members in this sector (the second most important for Italy's economy) will be expanded. The focus will be on established and newly founded consortia, manufacturers, importers and companies involved in source-selective WEEE collection.
