
Almost ninety years ago, Bellaria and Igea Marina, who, today, together, represent one of the most important centers of tourism on the Adriatic coast, a few houses were inhabited by fishermen, who, with their "batana" defied the sea every day.
So much effort and many sacrifices, that they forgot a little bit, going to the "Ostaria of Anzuloin", set right on the coast, was known by all and only a few pennies you ate well and drank a glass of good wine. He was also a meeting point, where the sea and tell the stories of the war just ended. Angelo Agostini "Anzuloin" had begun well, with the help of his wife Josephine. In 1921, not far from the inn, was born the "Board Adriatic", 12 rooms: begins the tradition of hospitality. In 1932 his son Gino, who by then was married to Silvana, his father enters the activity: an opportunity to extend the activities in the same year it was built, where before there was a tavern, the "Pension Agostini ": 16 bedrooms, ground floor, a restaurant that continued the tradition of the local cuisine of the old tavern. Angelo Agostini died in 1944, his son Gino went on developing the hotel business doing in place of the hotel, the first part of a new hotel Agostini opened in 1947. Is successfully conducted, with the cooperation of mother Josephine, his wife and sons, Guido and Silvana Franca. The family is thus to manage two hotels. In 1953, the new hotel is completed shortly after the restaurant and Franca and Guido share the tasks, each managing a hotel: Guido, with his wife Marisa will take care of the new "Hotel Agostini."
Gino Agostini, who died in 1990, was one of the founders of the Hoteliers of Bellaria Igea Marina, the Tourist Office and is also involved in the separation of Bellaria and Igea Marina by the Municipality of Rimini, which were then fractions.
